Julep Long Weekend Eyeshadow Palette

Julep Long Weekend Eyeshadow Palette - $54.00 / $43.20 US

Post contains affiliated links

I love Julep!  I have been a member of their subscription box for a year now.  I love the fact that I can curate my own box every month without paying for products I don't want or need.  For $24.00 a month, I expect to pay for what I get.  Plus picking out my own products makes it all more worth the while and the money!

Last year Julep came out with their Photogenic Sweep Palette during the holidays.  It had 11 shadows with a mixture of matte and shimmer.  They were absolutely stunning shadows which were gorgeous in texture, blendability and color.  I wore that palette throughout the holiday season like if it was going out of style.  It was a limited edition and was discontinued after the holidays were over.  The one thing that I like about Julep's shadows in general is how well formulated they are.  The matte shadows are never chalky and the shimmer shades don't have any fallout when applied.  They are very creamy, blend well and last all day long.  I don't remember ever having to touch up my eyeshadow when I sport these babies.  So when I saw that Julep had come out with another palette; their Long Weekend Eyeshadow Palette for the summer, I literally bounced on it!

Their Long Weekend palette consist of 11 shadows which are all matte.  In case you haven't noticed, but the craze this season is all about the mattes!  Just about every makeup company is putting out an all matte shadow something.  I personally don't mind as I love matte shadows (as well as shimmer and satin ones) as long as they are well formulated.  So of course, since Julep is up in the makeup world game, they followed suit and put out an impressive matte palette.
These shadows come in a lovely cardboard packaging with fun summer colors on the cover. It has a very nice mirror that does not give you the fun house look effect. The palette consist of 11 shadows just like it predecessor, however these are all matte in texture.  The palette contains three nude colors, two greenish colors, three purples and the rest browns. The assortment of colors are really great as it allows you to do just about any type of eye look you want. The names of the shadows are just about any type of word or activity you would do on the long weekend. Its pretty cute to be honest! The palette also comes with its own eyeshadow brush which is actually useful and functionable. You can apply and blend your eyeshadow with one end, and use the pointed end to apply shadow on the outer portion of your eye or as an eyeliner brush. The shadows had very little fall out that its hardly noticeable when swiping on the pan.  However when applied on the eye, everything stays in place with no fallout underneath your lower lashes.

I always use primer when applying eyeshadow because I like the fact that it wears longer and at times can make the colors look more vibrant.  These shadows are rich in color and when applied wet come off even more vibrant with their beautiful hues of greens, purples and browns.   What I love about this palette is that it is not a carbon copy of their Photogenic Sweep palette.  Many times when companies make a second version of their palettes, they tend to mirror closely the original palette which can be frustrating when you are paying all over again for basically the same colors.  In the first palette there were a lot more purples and pinks, while in the new palette they have a bigger assortment of colors.   I would really recommend this palette if you are looking for a nice inexpensive palette.  I bought this for $24.00 when it was available for the monthly box option.  However Julep always has constant sales and worth snatching up when they come out!

However with all being said, something to keep in mind.  Julep sales are only for members.  The non members pay full price.  Nonetheless, if you are interested in trying out their products, you can sign up for your first box and pay $2.99 for shipping and that's it!  In order to try out this amazing deal, simply click on the link here!  After that you can continue with the monthly box subscription, pause your subscription or cancel at anytime with no penalties!

So there you have it, my Julep Long Weekend Eyeshadow Palette review! Let me know if you have tried this palette or their original and what your thoughts are!

February Favorites!

Feb Favs!

So its that time of the month again! No no, not when your darling "friend" comes to town, but when my favorites of the month get posted! As the months go on, I look forward to two things. 1. Warmer weather 2. Using new products or falling in love again with certain products!  This month's focus is a lot on skincare because with the harsh weather that has been hitting Ontario, trust me its needed!

I just love anything Paula's Choice makes. The reason is because she is one of the few people who actually took time to well formulate her products in order to show effective non-irritant results. This mask works to remove excess oil from your skin without causing it to dry out. The formula in this masks helps to draw out and dislodge blackheads and other impurities without stripping the skin of it's natural moisture. This mask is a clay like formula that when it dries to a hard consistency, it doesn't feel like it's going to break your face. This mask contains ingredients such as sea whip extract, kaolin, Salix alba extract, bisabolol, glycerin, and colloidal oatmeal to name a few. This mask is actually worth trying out!

Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% Liquid BHA - $26.00 US

This product contains 2% salicylic acid which helps in dealing with oily and acne prone skin.  Salicylic Acid also known as BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) helps to increase the production in collagen in our skin, deal with blemishes and pimples and give us that over all smooth surface look.  I use this product just about everyday morning and night with the exception when I am using my other AHA products.  The first thing I noticed about using this product was that in less then a week my enlarged pores that I had on the side of nose right underneath my eyes were gone! I mean gone completely! My skin looks almost poreless and I hardly get any blemishes.   This product has got to be one of the most amazing products out on the market. If I were stuck on an island, this would be my companion hands down! Along with my sunscreen and chapstick of course!!

(To sweeten the deal, if you decide to buy any product from the Paula's Choice site, click here on my referral link to receive $10.00 off anything you buy over $15.00! Also, Paula's Choice has a money back guarantee on all their products!)

Fresh Sugar Lip Polish - $26.00 CDN

During the winter all our lips get dry from the harsh weather.  I normally exfoliate my lips with my tooth brush and then rub on some nice moisture rich lip balm.  However with the weather being -24F lately, that wasn't cutting it anymore.  Nonetheless being a beauty blogger, we always have awesome samples and products tucked away in our draw waiting to be used.  In a recently Sephora purchase I was given a generous sample of this Fresh Sugar Lip Polish.  I have to say I am amazed by the awesomeness of this product.  Not only does it exfoliate your lips, but it also conditions them afterwards.  I use this every morning and night after my skincare routine.  I have no clue why I haven't tried this sooner but this has totally helped with the dryness, flakiness and chapped lips I have been dealing with all weather long! While it is pricey, however its worth every penny for getting my lips back to their normal state!

Shiseido Facial Cotton - $11.00 CDN

If someone would of told me that buying 120 cotton pads for $11.00 was worth the money I would of said they were crazy!  However after trying them out, I have truly become a believer.  Now I know you can go to Costco and buy a set of 400 cotton pads for $15.00.  However what these Shiseido pads have that your normal cotton pads don't is that they don't absorb as much product and therefore it doesn't go to waste.  I have found that with my Shisedio pads, my toner and BHA/AHA exfoliants last longer because I don't need as much liquid on the pad in order for it to reach the surface.  I love these pads and while yes they are a bit on the pricey side for the amount of pads you get, however so are you liquid products which go to total waste when the majority is left on the pad and not on your face!  So totally worth trying out even if just once!

Julep Night Shift Sleeping Mask - $27.20 US

I have combination skin where oil is mostly in my T-Zone centralized on my nose.  However the rest of my face is normal with no real issues.  Nonetheless, being pregnant the last eight months and with this harsh Canadian weather, my face has taken a hit!  I started seeing dryness and flakiness around my face.  So when I saw that Julep had come out with this sleeping mask, I decided to give it a shot. I love rich thick cream during the weather for my night time skincare routine.  I have always been interested in trying a sleeping mask, but just couldn't find one worth my wild or that had safe ingredients.  However after checking the back of the label of this product, I was sold.  I started using this mask three weeks ago and have seen a massive improvement in my skin.  All my dryness is gone.  I never wake with oily skin and my face literally looks velvety smooth in the morning.  I would for sure recommend this product if you are looking for a safe sleeping mask with no harsh ingredients.  This mask is a bit pricey, however if you are a Julep member you can always find this mask on sale at their online store.  If you are not a Julep Subscription member, click here to sign up to get your first box free (shipping is $2.99) and you also get access to their sale store! It really is worth the price!

House of Lashes Ribbon Eyelash Case - $6.00 US

I wear fake eyelashes from time to time.  However the biggest problem I have is storing them afterwards.  I have tried many methods to keeping them safe, but I always end up losing them after a day of wearing them.  However one day after watching youtube, I noticed a few girls had this cute case which they were storing their lashes in.  I googled "eyelash case holder" and this lovely trinket popped up from House of Lashes for only six dollars.  You can not only store your lashes in this pink ribbon case, but you can also store your tools and glue so you have it all in one place.  For six dollars and a piece of mind this is really worth the investment.  Also come on, you have to admit its cute and looks great on your makeup counter!!

Well there you have it, my favorites of the month! Let me know if anything this month caught your eye from the products you being trying!

Keep smiling!

My Julep Hand & Nail Care Routine

Julep Best Hand & Nail Treatment

This post contains affiliated links

Hands speak the world about you. They are able to give away your age, tell others if you suffer from a nervous tick, how often you get manicures and to a point what type of career you have.  My mother always told me to make sure my hands and nails were always in great shape when entering the workforce.  She believed that a professional should always have properly manicured nails in order to look their best.  I have always made sure that my nails were filed down to a proper length every week and that my nail polish was never too ostentatious.  My nails grow at an accelerated rate to the point where I have to cut them every week.  However, every time I have become pregnant, they start to break off at an accelerated rate as well.  Not to mention in the winter, my hands and nails take a massive hit with the cold.

Last year in the summer I became a Julep Maven Member.  What I like about this program so much was my ability to be able to create and get great hand and nail care products at an affordable price all in one place.  Since I have been pregnant (literally) since 2009 (with all my (soon to be) four kids) my nails have taken a hit both on and off 'season'.  So I decided this winter to put together a hand and nail care routine in order to make sure that they make it through the winter and pregnancy in almost decent shape.  So far I have to say its working!

Julep Oxygen Nail Treatment -  $14.00 / 18.00 US

This is one of the best nail treatments I have seen or tried in a while.  My nails are normally hard and sturdy.  However with pregnancy they become brittle, soft and break off easily.  I started using this product seriously two weeks ago and was amazed to see how my nails grew strong again with only one breakage.  I also realized that they no longer looked brittle, but shiny, smoother and the free edge (the white part) was very white and strong.  You are suppose to wear this nail treatment alone on clean nails with no other type of nail polish.  It leaves a nice soft pinky color on your nails.  It lasted me a whole week before needing to reapply.  When I cleaned it off with nail polish remover in order to re-apply again for the next week, there were no stains left behind on my nails.  I am honestly amazed at this nail treatment and what a simple week and two coats did to my nails.

 Julep Mighty Nail & Cuticle Serum - $22.40 / $28.00 US

My cuticles get very dry during the winter season to the point of scary looking.  I normally push back my cuticles and clean up around my nails to get rid of all dead and dry skin.  However, I noticed that wasn't enough to keep them looking pretty, soft and hydrated throughout this Arctic weather.  That was until I came across this mighty (and yes it is mighty) pen serum.  This stuff is amazing! First, it comes in the form of click pen which dispenses the right amount of product for your nails.  It also contains peptides, green tea, fruit extract and other ingredients to help promote nail growth.  I comes out as a clear liquid with no smell and does not leave behind a sticky or tacky feeling.  It drys under 60 seconds with no residue.  I put this on at nights right before bed in order to allow the product to sink in without being wiped off from constantly using my hands all day long.  This is like my new holy grail product for cuticles.

Julep Brilliance Glycolic Scrub - $23.00 / $26.00 US

I have never tried a hand scrub that contained Glycolic acid in it.  I have tried Glycolic acid before on my face (AHA) and have always achieved amazing results. However I never thought about trying it on hands, till now.  In the winter my hands tend to get dry and scaly.  I started using this product months back every night in order to wake up to glowy, youthful, radiant hands every morning.  This stuff is just awesome.  Every night before bed, I wet my hands a bit and rub this scrub all over my hands, nails, cuticles and knuckles.  This really does away with the flaky and dry skin over night!  This product contains Glycolic acid to help reveal younger skin and get rid of dark spots, diminish the looks of wrinkles on your hands and smooth out the skin.  However do note, if you are using this product which contains AHA, you need to use SPF 30 UVA/UVB protection.  Glycolic acid causes your skin to become extremely sensitive to the sun.  In order to avoid a sunburn or have your hands look worse than before, ALWAYS use sunscreen on your hands during the daylight when using a product of this type.

Julep Luxe Care Hand Creme - $20.00 / $16.00 US

After using the Julep Brilliance Glycolic Scrub on my hands I always follow up with Julep's Luxe Hand Creme.  This hand creme is ultra rich and moisturizing.  Literally a little goes a long way.  This hand creme contains Power Cell Complex, Rosehip seed oil, Malvaceae lipid extract, and Green Coffee bean oil to name a few.  I use this every night after my hand scrub and go straight to bed.  This literally leaves my hands feeling like silk every morning.  I have never tried a hand cream so rich that literally left me speechless with such great results.  I really wish they would make something similar to this for the body.

Best Lip Balms

Best Lip Balms

This post contains affiliated links

Lip balms are awesome. Not only do they work as chapsticks, but some actually offer a hint of color and totally moisturize your lips in a pretty tube. I have tried just about every lip balm out there and truly just love them! Next to lipgloss they are my go to products for my lips. Especially with this winter where my lips have been hit hard to the point of actually cracking and peeling which has NEVER happened to me before. And no matter how much lip balm I applied it wasn't able to stop the dryness. It did however help to alleviate the pain and the recovery time.

So I decide to narrow done the best lips balms that I have tried so far that have given me good proven results and that I love using the most.  They range from fairly inexpensive to just plain out there in price.  But hey when it comes to the wellness and health of your lips, can you really put a price tag on those smoochers of yours?!

Nivea Lip Butter - $2.41US - $3.20 US

I bought these on a whim when my current lip balm ran out.  I didn't know what to expect as they looked so delicious in their tins but the taste was a concern for me.  However after one try I was in love.  They go on very creamy on the lips, not tacky or sticky at all and they don't travel all over the place or bleed.  I have only tried the raspberry Rose Kiss and the Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss flavors and just love them.  They are fairly inexpensive, can be bought at just about any drugstore or ordered online from Amazon.  I keep one in my purse and makeup draw at all times.

I just love this product and not only because of its texture and smoothness on the lips, but because it actually contains SPF 30 which is seriously lacking in many lip products now-a-days.  When I step outside, I ALWAYS wear sunscreen SPF 60 UVA/UVB protection on my face.  No matter the weather, in daylight you won't catch me without sunscreen on.  With that same thought in mind, I also protect my lips.  Many people don't understand that you can still get lip cancer when exposed to sunlight.  This lip balm comes in two flavors but I would only recommend the Acai one because the other one contains mint which is a serious irritant to lips.  So if you are serious about protection your lips, then this lip balm is for you.

Dior Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm - $29.00 CDN

Nothing says luxury like Dior. The first time I heard of this product was from Youtube were all the beauty vloggers were raving about it. So I decided to jump on Sephora online and buy it. However when I realized that it cost shy of $30, I turned the computer off and went to bed. However I had this nagging feeling that I really needed to try this. So after a month of having this sitting in my checkout cart on Sephora I decided to buy it. When it arrived three days later, I used it right away. I first noticed it had a waxy film at the top that you had to breakaway in order to get to the creamy part of the balm. But once you did, it was amazing on the lips. It was so soft and creamy. Was not tacky or sticky at all and had a lovely slight smell to it. I really like this balm, due to how it does hydrate the lips. However I don't use it often because of the price tag. So while yes it is crazy expensive for a simple balm, nonetheless it offers great moisturize to the lips.

When Bite Beauty hit Sephora, the first thing I heard about them was their Agave Lip Mask.  I was taken with the fact that this lip balm not only worked as a lip balm but also as a lip mask to help heal cracked dried lips.  I read many reviews on this product and realized that you generally use it at nights right before bed to allow the product to work its magic.  I noticed that when applied at nights, it lasted all throughout my sleep and never transferred, bled or stained my pillows.  I bought this in the color champagne the same day it was released in Sephora.  It gives you the slightest tint to your lips without coloring them fully.  It is also made of all natural ingredients which are safe to ingest especially for someone like me who is currently six months pregnant.  I love using this lip mask at night and the great results it gives me!

Sephora Collection Color Reveal Lip Balm - $16.00

I found this lip balm all by accident. It was on sale at Sephora during the holiday season and I became curious to try it out.  It stated that when applied to your lips, it gives you a slight tint to your lips according to your own lip color.  I saw some before and after pictures, so I decided to try it.  I noticed that once applied to your lips within seconds it gave me a nice pinkish tints to my lips that looked natural.  I also noticed that it really moisturized my lips and left the nicest feeling and lovely sheen.  It last for a good two to three hours on my lips before wearing off.  However the color lasted all the way until I brushed my teeth again at night.  Really worth trying if you are looking to add some color to your lips without using lipstick or lipgloss.

I first got this product with one of my Julep Maven boxes last year.  I loved the fact that it came with a cool metal tip applicator which helped to smooth it on your lips with ease.  This lip balm also has a lovely smell of Shea Butter to it which I love.  I have this on my bathroom counter and wear it in the mornings right after washing my face.   It helps to keep them moisturized while I am getting ready for the day and applying my makeup.  It last for a while on my lips and really love the cooling sensation I get every time I use it!  If you are a Julep Maven member you can buy it for $19.20 US.

The first time I tried this lip treatment was when I received it in a generous sample size.  I have used Fresh lip treatments before and just loved on some how it contains SPF in their formula.  I love keeping this in my purse because its small and has a twist top which keeps it from coming off and getting messed up.  It has no real smell to it and really works great on my dry lips during the winter season.

So there you have it, my favorite lip balms to help beat this cold winter and relief dry chapped lips to reveal beautiful moisturized kissable lips! Do you have any favorites I should try?

Keep Smiling

Julep Buff Lip Scrub & Julep Luxe Lip Conditioning Treatment

Julep Buff Lip Scrub & Julep Luxe Lip Conditioning Treatment

(Affiliated links attached)

I have been a Julep Maven Member since the Summer.  I heard about this company through a friend and was excited about joining.  I always wanted to join a mailbox subscription service for beauty products, but I couldn't see myself parting with my cold hard cash on just sample size products which is what you get with many of these subscription services.  However when I heard about Julep and that I could customize my own box, I jumped at the chance.  Now, while I do love Julep, I will admit since the company is growing there have been some serious issues that I have encountered with them on every Julep Maven order.   Nonetheless the company has always been diligent in correcting these issues!  So there customer service is something really worth bragging about!

Part of being a Julep Maven Member (MM) is that you also can get add on products for like dirty cheap.  So once you customize your box for the month; on the way to checking out you can add on full size products and pay way less than half the price.  On one of these check out points, I decided to add on the Julep Buff Lip Scrub and the Julep Luxe Lip Conditioning Treatment.  Since its winter and my lips are dry as the Sahara, I decided to try a lip scrub and see it they lived up to the hype.  Moreover I LOVE Julep's Luxe line. Anything from this line is just freaking awesome and worth checking out!

Julep Buff Lip Scrub - $20.00 ($16.00 MM)

Being a Julep member I got this lip scrub and lip conditioner as part of their Lip Love add on for $12.00! So basically $6 dollars a product! Sweet deal if you ask me if you compare it to their normal prices!

Since my lips are dry all winter long, I wanted to try a lip scrub and see if it could help with my chapped lips.  However disclosure, since I was about 13 years old, I have always brushed my lips with a tooth brush every time after brushing my teeth.  I learned this from a dentist after reading an article on how to do away with chapped lips.  While brushing them does do a way with the dead skin cells that causes the skin chapping, it still doesn't help with dryness.

This product comes in a long white plastic tube.  Its a twist tube that you turn at the bottom several times on the first use in order to get the product to dispense.  Once it comes out, it dispenses some scrubbing like crystals that you apply on your lips.  However while the crystals help to scrub the skin, its actually the dofa tip applicator that does all the work.  The dofa applicator (sponge head) is actually stiff and not soft at all.  Normally dofa tips are flexible and smooth.  This one is stiff in order to help scrub and exfoliate the skin.  However, while it is stiff it does not hurt or damage the delicate skin of the lips at all!  After you are doing scrubbing your lips with the dofa applicator, you simply wipe off the product with a tissue or towel.

I normally do this at night before bed while doing other things.  Since there is no mess incurred, you can walk around the house gently scrubbing your lips with this handy too! I really like this scrub because of the stiff dofa applicator and crystals.  I feel like you get two benefits in one!

I love this lip conditioner! It smells like Shea Butter coming right out of the tub.  It conditions your lips and feels great.  I always wear this after using my Julep Buff Lip Scrub.  This has an amazing metal cool tip applicator that feels great on your lips.  However with that being said, metal tip applicators don't offer anymore benefits then that; feeling cool on your lips.  In order for anything cold to help with inflammation and promote circulation, it has to reach a certain temperature that you can only get in a fridge and has to be held to your lips (or that section of the body) for at least 5-10 minutes while staying cold.  So when you see these metal tips on eye or lip products just know there isn't much benefit to them.

However what this product contains in ingredients is where the benefits come in!  This product is enriched with Shea Butter, Hydrogenated Olive Oil,  Jojoba Esters and seed wax to name a few.  I only use this lip conditioner at night before bed.  Once I am done scrubbing with my buff lip scrub.  When I wake up in the morning, my lips are conditioned and feel great.  I don't have that much dryness throughout the day and my lips stay soft and chapped free!   This lip conditioner really smells like shea butter and worth trying out!  It glides on your lips very smooth and creamy and doesn't leave any residue afterwards.  I honestly look forward to using this lip conditioner at night.

Julep Luxe Care Hand Cream & Brilliance Glycolic Scrub Review

(Disclosure: this post contains an affiliated link)

My friend introduced me to Julep a month ago.  She informed me that the they sell great nail polishes and awesome products worth trying out. I decided to sign up to their monthly Julep Maven club in order to receive my first free monthly Maven box.  Needless to say I haven't be disappointed yet.

Julep also allows its Maven customers to shop their store at a nice discount.  I have to admit I really like receiving their sale discount codes from the company that really help to make a dent in the price.  I recently order their Brilliance Glycolic Scrub  and Luxe Care Hand Creme.  The scrub cost $18.40 and the hand creme was $16.00.  However since I was a Julep Maven customer I received a 50% coupon in my first free monthly Maven Julep box and the total price with free shipping came out to $17.20.  So basically I received one whole product for free and the other one for $1 off!  I have to say that was a sweet deal!

Julep Brilliance Glycolic Scrub - $18.40 US

I decided to try this product as I was intrigued due to the fact that it has Glycolic acid (GA) in it.  Glycolic Acid (also known as AHA) helps to remove dead skin cells at the top of the surface.  It comes from natural sources like sugar canes, however it is eventually turned into a synthetic form.  GA works as an actual exfoliator.  People tend to think that scrubs are exfoliators.  They aren't.  Facial scrubs "help" to remove some dirty off the top of the face.  However they don't actually do much as they don't stimulate cell turn over the way GA does.  Scrubs actually cause micro tears on your face because of how delicate the skin is and how abrasive scrubs normally are.  I would NEVER recommend a scrub of any form for the face.  However for the feet and/or hands is a whole different story.

A lot of people tend to neglect their hands when it comes to skincare.  Yet what many fail to see is that hands are a great indicator of age and overall general health.  If you ever looked at the hands of a mature women, you can potential see dry or tough skin, thinning skin, age spot (sun spots, liver spots) and other nasty little hand skin issues.  Using GA on your helps them to have a youthful glow and helps the skin repair itself to a point.  While you won't end up with hands that look like a teenagers, however it can help to improve the texture, feel and overall look to them.

This scrub comes in a generous size tube with an awesome scent to it!  This bottom of the scrub is a twist cap.  You twist the cap and squeeze, in order for the product to dispense.  I love that method as it exposes the product to very little light and air and it minimizes bacteria issues as you are not sticking your (dirty) hands in a jar. The scrub is a sugar cane color with tiny beads in it.  You pour a small amount on damp hands.  I found that the dampness help to move the scrub easier along the hands versus them being bone dry.  You scrub this on your hands in the same way you would if you were using soap.  After  30 seconds of scrubing, you rinse it clean of your hands under warm water.

I found the scrub beads not to harsh.  They didn't feel like they were cutting up my skin and they really helped to get into my cuticle area.  Ever since I started using this scrub once at night right before bed, I can see a real difference in my cuticles and dryness on my hands.  This is not a hand cream, so don't expect it to moisturizer as that is not its job.  It's job is to get rid of dry skin and help improve the overall look and feel to your hands.

I really liked this hand scrub and have seen a difference in my hand since I started using it a week ago.  Remember everyone see's your hands, so its best you treat them well.  Don't neglect your hands.

This hand cream is divine!  It smells like; geez I can't explain it but its beautiful.  The scent isn't overpowering but it isn't to so understated either.  This comes in a generous size jar with a screw on lid.  I will admit I don't like jar forms of anything because it has been proven creams and serums that come in jars tend to not stabilize themselves and lose their potency with the constant air and light exposure.  Not to mention the bacteria it eventually collects from sticking our hands in them.  However since this is going my hands and not my face, I can live with it!

This hand creme is infused with glycerin, Power Cell Complex formula that consist of Rosehip Seed Oil, Malvaceae Lipid Extractand and Green Coffee Bean Oil.  These ingredients have some great properties to them which help to invigorate, protect and help promote cell turnover on the hands.

I apply this cream every day once at night after using my Brilliance Glycolic Scrub.  It leaves my hands feeling velvety smooth.  It does not leave a greasy like feel and it absorbs into the skin nicely.  I am never left with that that dry hand feeling after using this product.  The cream is very light weight and easily to apply.  It isn't so thick that it won't glide over your hands, but it isn't so thin either that you barely feel it. I really enjoying use this hand creme at night and its the LAST thing I use for my nighttime skin and body care routine before going to bed.

My only complaint I have with this product was that when it arrived to my house, it was opened and half the contents were missing.  I emailed the company right away and they sent me a free bottle in the mail asap.  I appreciated their sense of loyalty to the customers and their willingness to rectify this error!  That really impressed me!  Good job Julep!
