Morning Skincare Routine!

Affiliate Links in Post
First, Happy New Year!! This is my first post of the new year! I know, I know it January 8! What can I say, I've been partying hard (not at all!!) sleeping in (totally a lie as well! I have four kids!!) and taking it easy for the first week and half! But now back to business!

On the norm I get ask what is my daily skincare routine! Because everyone has different needs for their skin and its always important that you tailor one to your needs and not try copying what your friends do, due to the different issues, skin textures and need we each have. I have two skincare routines, morning and night. While they are similar in one way, they differ in another. So for my very first blog post of 2016, I'm going to discuss my morning skincare routine that I do every day without fail! Now keep in mind, every product that I use has a function for the skincare problem that I need help with.  No ONE product will ever hit everything across the board.  Just like no one piece of vegetable will give you everything you need in your diet; as we all know different vegetables offer different nutritional values, same can be said for skincare.
I mostly use Paula's Choice Skincare Line because Paula uses REAL medical literature journal articles in order to back up her claims on the ingredients she uses in her skincare line. Due to this, I have stopped using anything with witch hazel, alcohol, fragrances, dyes, perfumes and so on that would be constituted as an irritating ingredient based on these articles.  Trust me when I tell you, I literally saw my skin change overnight!
Finally, if you are interested in trying any of her products which I literally swear by, click HERE which will give you $10 dollars off your FIRST order with the company on any order over $15.00!  I would stalk the site, as many times they have amazing discount deals and free shipping throughout the months!  So literally that one bottle of BHA with taxes can come out to less then $10 with free shipping!  The $10 will be applied automatically at checkout when you click on the link above!

I literally swear by this cleanser.  I use this product every morning when washing my face.  I have the 8oz bottle in my shower and the 17oz bottle on my sink vanity.  I wash my face every morning in the shower and at night at my sink vanity.  A little really does go a long way.  I use about a pea size amount and use either my hands or my clarisonic to cleanse my face with.  I wash my face in circular motion for about 5-7 seconds and then rinse off with luke-warm water.  Not only does it help reducing oil when cleansing my skin, but there is NO tight feeling left when you rinse the product off.  It lather well, no scent, no dyes or irritating ingredients will you find in this bottle!  It just leave your face feel clean and smooth after every use.  I haven't used a different face cleanser in the last two years that hasn't been this one.  Like the old saying goes "if it ain't broke, then don't fix it".

I use a Clarisonic Aria just about everyday to cleanse my face along with my PC Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser.  What I love about this brush is that it has different settings you can use depending on your face tolerance.  However I would recommend to be gentle, as your face is not asphalt and scrubbing it like sandpaper will cause damage to the skin with small micro-tears and irritation.  This device is so smart, that if you keep it too long on a certain part of your face without moving it for 10 seconds, it will turn off on its own to protect your face.  I use this brush all over my face and neck for 5-10 seconds in small circular motions without applying much pressure.  Again, I want to clean my face, not rip it off right! So the key is to be gentle at all times!
After washing my face, I follow up with a toner to restore the natural PH balance to my skin.  Toners can also be used to help remove any makeup, residue and dirty left behind that your cleanser might have not caught.  However if you have a good cleanser, then seldom will this be a problem for you.
A good formulated toner will do wonders for your skin!  A bad formulated toner will rob your skin of its natural oils and damage the skin barrier with harsh ingredients like alcohol and witch hazel which are commonly found in toners! Choose a toner that is free of harsh ingredients, restores the PH balance to your face after cleansing and helps to get rid of any residual dirty.  Also, the most important thing is to use a toner that is right for your skin type.  Don't use over emollient toners if you have oily skin as this might make your face feel more greasy and lead to breakouts.  Or acne toners if you have normal skin with no acne issues as this might dry your face out.  Always work with the skin you have and not with what you wish you had.  Working with the skin type and texture you have can potentially get you the skin you want to have when you use right products which are formulated with good ingredients!

After toning, comes my favorite part!! My BHA! I have always said, if I was stuck on a desert island I would bring three things with me.  Sunscreen, chapstick and BHA!  I literally apply this on hands about two drops and rub it on my face without a cotton round. Reason for this, is because BHA is not used to clean residual dirty of your face per se.  Its meant to stay on your face and exfoliate your skin chemically throughout the day.  So using a cotton round to apply this treatment, will make you waste this precious product for no reason.
BHA is literally a miracle cure over night for many skincare issues.  BHA is basically Beta Hydroxy Acid (or salicylic acid) that not only cleans the top layer of your skin, but also goes deep down into the pore to clear it out, causes cell turnover by actually exfoliating the under layer of the skin thus push through new skin and skin cells to the top layer of the face.  I swear by this product morning and night!  BHA is literally on my list of best of the best and I recommend it to everyone!!

While I use daily (morning and night) my BHA, I also changing it up a few times a week with AHA (Alpha Hydorxy Acid) to chemically exfoliate the surface of my skin from any sun damage, dark spots and wrinkles that occur over time. This AHA comes in a light weight lotion form, and I apply it directly after applying my toner.  If I use AHA that morning I wouldn't use my BHA till night time.  Using both at the same time, can cause a serious irritation. Trust me, I should know, I did it once by accident for a month not realizing that AHA and BHA shouldn't be mixed that way! Talk about a burn if I ever did see one!!
The reason why I using AHA and BHA (on separate days) is because; while I am diligent to wear SPF 60 if I go out during the day ALWAYS, however sun damage occurs from the moment a ray from the sun hits your face. Even with SPF 30 and up on your face, a small portion of the rays still do penetrate the skin.  So I make sure to keep my skin looking fresh, young and exfoliated with my AHA throughout the week.  While SPF will block the UVA/UVB rays from the sun (as long as its a board spectrum) AHA will help get rid of the damage left behind from the sun, aging and pollution we all deal with on a daily basis.

After toning my skin and applying either my AHA or BHA for the day, I follow up with my Vitamin C serum.  Vitamin C is an antioxidant that works beautifully when applied to the skin.  It clears up uneven skin tone, helps with hyperpigmentation, brightens skin (not whitens) and gives your complexion a health radiant glow all around.  Next to my BHA, vitamin c is my next best skincare product that I swear by.  I have been using this product for over two years now at the 25% mark and have truly seen a difference in my skin.

Since vitamin c is an antioxidant, it is very sensitive to light and air.  So make sure to ALWAYS get vitamin c in a liquid serum form that dispenses from either a pump or a droplet bottle.  Make sure the bottle is dark or not see-through and that the vitamin c formula is at least 10% in order to see a difference in your face.  Stay away from any vitamin c that say it contains witch hazel or alcohol.  This will not only dry out your skin and damage the protective barrier, but will basically negate the usefulness of vitamin c.  A well formulated vitamin c will greatly improve your complexion.  For more information on vitamin c, click HERE on my blog post about vitamin c.

Resist Hyaluronic Acid Booster - $45 USD

After I apply my vitamin c, I follow up with my Resist Hyaluronic Acid Booster. This has got to be literally magic in a bottle with the amazing affects you are left with after a couple of uses.
Now what is Hyaluronic Acid you ask? Good question! Let me tell you!! Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is found naturally in the human body and seen in high dosages in babies. Have you ever wondered why babies and small children always look like they have beautiful supple plumpy skin? Well its because of the hyaluronic acid in their system. Its a major component of skin tissue that give babies this beautiful plushy effect. Skin in general holds about fifty percent of your body’s hyaluronic acid in it. However as we get older we lose a lot of it and thus aging takes it toll. Hyaluronic Acid plumps and moisturizes skin and helps to heal and comfort it when its suffered damage. Hyaluronic Acid also prevent fine lines and wrinkles from forming and helps by retaining moisture in the skin and creating a cushion like effect to help plump out the lines as we age. Needless to say, this is some good stuff! However with all being said, HA only works when it formulated properly and is not diluted or adulterated with alcohol, dyes or fragrances.

This product is truly worth investing in if you have fine lines and wrinkles and need a serum to serious help plump up your skin!

Paula's Choice Resist Ultra Light Super Antioxidant Serum - $36 USD

After I apply my hyaluronic acid, I always follow up with an antioxidant serum that is super charged and packed with ingredients to help flourish my skin to its best state possible.  Serum are amazing, because a well formulate serum will (just like vegetables) bring to the table a great array of other ingredients and antioxidants that help and protect skin in many different ways.  A good serum will promote good cell turnover, leave your face feeling well attended to and will not dry, damage or destroy your skin in any manner.

The resist ultra light super antioxidant serum contains vitamin C, vitamin E, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, sea whip extract to name a few.  These ingredients are great to help skin look and feels its best while promoting anti-aging in order to help fight signs of fine lines and wrinkle that form on our face due to aging or sun damage.

Paula's Choice Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator - $32 USD

After I am done applying my resist ultra light antioxidant serum, I follow up with my light weight moisturizer. This moisturizer is so light weight, that it literally feels like you have nothing on, but leaves your skin feeling moisturized, non-greasy and well hydrated.  This lotion is a gel like texture with a silky feeling that leaves your face feeling smooth, bright and health.

Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator has a proven anti-wrinkle and skin-clearing ingredients that shows results when used daily.  I apply this lotion morning and night after my skincare routine.  This lotion helps with collagen production, sun damage, uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation.  Lactoperoxidase is an ingredient found in this lotion that helps to eliminate breakouts while helping the skin to naturally repair itself from damage.   I love this lotion due to all its healthy properties and affects!

EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47

Finally and mostly the MOST important part of my skincare routine is SUNSCREEN!  And here's why.  If you don't wear sunscreen after using AHA, BHA and vitamin c, not only are damaging your skin further (from the sun rays) and un-doing all the hard work these products are made to do, but you are also exposing yourself to harmful rays throughout the day.  My sunscreen is my friend and I wear sunscreen EVERYDAY if I go out throughout the day regardless of the weather condition. Unless its night time, sunscreen is always applied to my face.  In order to be protected from both the UVA/UVB rays, you need to use a broad-spectrum SPF that is at least 30 and up.  Anything less then SPF 30 and not board-spectrum will do little to nothing in order to protect your skin.  Click HERE to read my blog post on why sunscreen is so important to your daily skincare routine.

Lastly, never dilute your sunscreen with makeup or your face cream as it will lower the effectiveness of the SPF.  Moreover, never rely solely on your makeup that claims to have SPF in order to protect your skin. Research has shown that unless you apply your makeup six times over and extremely heavily, then the SPF is rendered useless.  Click HERE for that blog post on those facts.

So there you have it! My morning skincare routine!  Tell me what's yours!!

Keep Smiling!

Paula's Choice Resist 25% Vitamin C Spot Treatment

Paula's Choice Resist 25% Vitamin C Spot Treatment - $55.00 US

Post contains affiliated links

Hello everyone! I am back! Took me awhile to get it together after having my fourth and yes final baby but I am here!  So needless to say I have missed blogging about all the awesome stuff out in the beauty world.  Nonetheless, though I was out taking care of my three week old newborn, that doesn't mean I wasn't busy trying out beauty products!

So about a few months ago, Paula's Choice came out with an exciting new product that is a concentrated 25% Vitamin C spot treatment to help deal with stubborn dark spots, deep wrinkles and red lines on your face.  I normally use their Resist C15 Super Booster everyday (morning and night) to help to even out my skin tone, reduce the color of dark spots, redness and wrinkles.  Vitamin C works amazingly to reduce brown/dark spots on the face.  However with that being said, any product you use to reduce dark spots, sun spots and so on, you need a SPF 30 or higher UVA/UVA protection to use throughout the day.  If not, then your spots will not go away and only get worse as the sun rays are known to affect and exacerbate the problem.

I noticed when I was pregnant; for every pimple that came and went, it always left behind a dark spot. So when this product launched I was eager to try it to see if it could tackle those nasty "connect the dots" I had on my face.  Now with all that being said, I will admit, when I saw the price tag on this product I did back up a bit.  Its pretty steep at $55 for a 15 ml tube.  Nonetheless I read that it had amazing reviews by so many people who had tried it out and saw real results.  So I bite my lip and bought it.

This comes in a squeeze out tube that pretty easy to use.  Though the tube looks small, you can get about 70 applications from it according to the PC website.  The cream is white and does not contain any odor.  The trick about this spot treatment is that you are suppose to apply it as your LAST skincare routine product.  You are also NOT suppose to rub it on but dab it.  If you rub it on or apply anything else over it, it will pill on you.  So fair warning.  Also, a little goes a long way.  Adding massive amounts to one area will not give you better results.  The package states to clearly only use a pea size amount.  For some of my dark spots, I sometimes need even less then that.  Another thing to keep in mind, is that you are only suppose to use this at night.  If you use this during the day and apply makeup over it, you probably will cause it to pill.  And at $55 a tube, you really want to make sure this lasts and works.  So follow the instructions carefully if you want to see adequate results.

I started using this product the moment it arrived to my house.  I noticed that on my right hand side was the only place I had dark spots which is weird cause I sleep on my left hand side so you would think pimples would form there.  But no, no its only on my right.   After going through my whole skincare routine for the night, I pulled this puppy out, said a prayer (for my bank account) and hoped for the best.  I applied this spot treatment on my dark spots for two weeks straight every night.  by the time week one rolled around, I saw the spots had faded greatly.  By the time week two came to a close, all my spots except for two on my forehead were completely gone.  I had in total about seven dark spots on my cheek, chin and forehead.  So five out of seven spots gone isn't bad in two weeks.  My forehead ones took a lot longer and about a month in they finally faded away back to my natural pale white skin color.

While this product is pricey, but honestly this is literally worth every penny (or $55 dollars to be exact).  I have never tried a spot treatment where I have seen results in such a quick turnaround time.  I did read on line that for some people it didn't work.  Yet for many failed reviews that I read, I noticed that many didn't follow the instructions which were as stated to apply as your LAST skincare routine product, don't rub on and don't wear during the day only at night.  I guess since I followed these instructions to the letter it worked well for me and then some!

I would highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a spot treatment that works!

Lastly as a bonus, if you decide to buy this product from Paula's Choice or ANY product off her website; if you use my referral link you will get $10 dollars off anything you buy over $15.00.  Also, right now PC is having a 15% off sale on ALL her products.  So click on the link here to get this amazing deal!! Trust me this spot treatment or any of her products are worth the deal!

February Favorites!

Feb Favs!

So its that time of the month again! No no, not when your darling "friend" comes to town, but when my favorites of the month get posted! As the months go on, I look forward to two things. 1. Warmer weather 2. Using new products or falling in love again with certain products!  This month's focus is a lot on skincare because with the harsh weather that has been hitting Ontario, trust me its needed!

I just love anything Paula's Choice makes. The reason is because she is one of the few people who actually took time to well formulate her products in order to show effective non-irritant results. This mask works to remove excess oil from your skin without causing it to dry out. The formula in this masks helps to draw out and dislodge blackheads and other impurities without stripping the skin of it's natural moisture. This mask is a clay like formula that when it dries to a hard consistency, it doesn't feel like it's going to break your face. This mask contains ingredients such as sea whip extract, kaolin, Salix alba extract, bisabolol, glycerin, and colloidal oatmeal to name a few. This mask is actually worth trying out!

Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% Liquid BHA - $26.00 US

This product contains 2% salicylic acid which helps in dealing with oily and acne prone skin.  Salicylic Acid also known as BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) helps to increase the production in collagen in our skin, deal with blemishes and pimples and give us that over all smooth surface look.  I use this product just about everyday morning and night with the exception when I am using my other AHA products.  The first thing I noticed about using this product was that in less then a week my enlarged pores that I had on the side of nose right underneath my eyes were gone! I mean gone completely! My skin looks almost poreless and I hardly get any blemishes.   This product has got to be one of the most amazing products out on the market. If I were stuck on an island, this would be my companion hands down! Along with my sunscreen and chapstick of course!!

(To sweeten the deal, if you decide to buy any product from the Paula's Choice site, click here on my referral link to receive $10.00 off anything you buy over $15.00! Also, Paula's Choice has a money back guarantee on all their products!)

Fresh Sugar Lip Polish - $26.00 CDN

During the winter all our lips get dry from the harsh weather.  I normally exfoliate my lips with my tooth brush and then rub on some nice moisture rich lip balm.  However with the weather being -24F lately, that wasn't cutting it anymore.  Nonetheless being a beauty blogger, we always have awesome samples and products tucked away in our draw waiting to be used.  In a recently Sephora purchase I was given a generous sample of this Fresh Sugar Lip Polish.  I have to say I am amazed by the awesomeness of this product.  Not only does it exfoliate your lips, but it also conditions them afterwards.  I use this every morning and night after my skincare routine.  I have no clue why I haven't tried this sooner but this has totally helped with the dryness, flakiness and chapped lips I have been dealing with all weather long! While it is pricey, however its worth every penny for getting my lips back to their normal state!

Shiseido Facial Cotton - $11.00 CDN

If someone would of told me that buying 120 cotton pads for $11.00 was worth the money I would of said they were crazy!  However after trying them out, I have truly become a believer.  Now I know you can go to Costco and buy a set of 400 cotton pads for $15.00.  However what these Shiseido pads have that your normal cotton pads don't is that they don't absorb as much product and therefore it doesn't go to waste.  I have found that with my Shisedio pads, my toner and BHA/AHA exfoliants last longer because I don't need as much liquid on the pad in order for it to reach the surface.  I love these pads and while yes they are a bit on the pricey side for the amount of pads you get, however so are you liquid products which go to total waste when the majority is left on the pad and not on your face!  So totally worth trying out even if just once!

Julep Night Shift Sleeping Mask - $27.20 US

I have combination skin where oil is mostly in my T-Zone centralized on my nose.  However the rest of my face is normal with no real issues.  Nonetheless, being pregnant the last eight months and with this harsh Canadian weather, my face has taken a hit!  I started seeing dryness and flakiness around my face.  So when I saw that Julep had come out with this sleeping mask, I decided to give it a shot. I love rich thick cream during the weather for my night time skincare routine.  I have always been interested in trying a sleeping mask, but just couldn't find one worth my wild or that had safe ingredients.  However after checking the back of the label of this product, I was sold.  I started using this mask three weeks ago and have seen a massive improvement in my skin.  All my dryness is gone.  I never wake with oily skin and my face literally looks velvety smooth in the morning.  I would for sure recommend this product if you are looking for a safe sleeping mask with no harsh ingredients.  This mask is a bit pricey, however if you are a Julep member you can always find this mask on sale at their online store.  If you are not a Julep Subscription member, click here to sign up to get your first box free (shipping is $2.99) and you also get access to their sale store! It really is worth the price!

House of Lashes Ribbon Eyelash Case - $6.00 US

I wear fake eyelashes from time to time.  However the biggest problem I have is storing them afterwards.  I have tried many methods to keeping them safe, but I always end up losing them after a day of wearing them.  However one day after watching youtube, I noticed a few girls had this cute case which they were storing their lashes in.  I googled "eyelash case holder" and this lovely trinket popped up from House of Lashes for only six dollars.  You can not only store your lashes in this pink ribbon case, but you can also store your tools and glue so you have it all in one place.  For six dollars and a piece of mind this is really worth the investment.  Also come on, you have to admit its cute and looks great on your makeup counter!!

Well there you have it, my favorites of the month! Let me know if anything this month caught your eye from the products you being trying!

Keep smiling!

6 Skincare Companies Worth Knowing!

5 Skincare Companies Worth Knowing!

Post Contains Affiliated links

Last week I wrote about six independent beauty companies worth checking into because of their amazing prices, fabulous makeup quality and amazing makeup brushes. Click here for that review. This week I decided to spotlight six skincare companies that in my opinion not only offer quality products that actually produce results, but that also showcase quality ingredients without using harsh chemicals, alcohols, fragrances, fillers or binders that breakdown collagen and create free radical cell damage.

These six companies are the ONLY ones you will see on my vanity bathroom counter year around.  I literally have nothing else there besides these six companies.  While you won't find these products in your local department store, drugstore or Sephora, however not finding them there doesn't mean you shouldn't be looking into them.  I am very picky about what goes on my face and ALWAYS do my medical research on the ingredients before buying a product.  It doesn't phase me who's name is on the product.  If it doesn't add up then its not worth damaging your face over. Period.  These six companies so far I have found to fit the bill and offer me the skincare quality I need to keep me looking young, fresh and alive day in and day out in any type of weather!

If you haven't heard about Paula's Choice its probably because you been living under a skincare rock like I was up to two years ago.  I started using Paula's Choice Skin Balancing line as my skincare routine and never looked back.  I came to hear about this company all by accident.  My physician friend one day notified me that if I wasn't using a good BHA/AHA/Retinol/Vitamin C at my age then I wasn't using anything at all. So of course I hit the internet to first find the medical literature on these ingredients and then the products themselves.  What a world of wonder I found.  Not only did I find tons of products from other companies full of crap ingredients but many were either harmful to the skin or no longer effective due to bad packaging.  So my search lead me on a massive product hunt for two weeks.  Hence when I found Paula's Choice.  Not only did they have actual up-to-date medical literature to back up their product claims, but they also have proper packaging for their products based on the ingredients they use.  Truly this company amazes me as you can find literally just about any BHA/AHA/Retinol/Vitamin C product to suit your skincare needs.  The prices are affordable, their shipping is realistic and their ingredients are quality.  You can literally shop for just about every skincare problem you have and for all seasonal issues.  90% of my skincare products are Paula's Choice.  I don't know how I got by before I starting using these products.  Nonetheless, I don't plan to ever get by without them again!

As a bonus, if you click on the Paula's Choice link here, for first time buyers you will get a $10 credit for any item you buy worth $15 or more! This company is truly worth trying out!

Colleen Rothschild

I first heard about this company from Youtube, where else!  Mrs. Rothschild is pretty brilliant.  She used the power of youtube and sent a few beauty youtubers products from her line to sample and review.  Needless to say it worked because it got me hooked not to mention others!  My first purchase ever was there Radiant Cleansing Balm which literally melted away all my makeup in one shot.  After that I tried their Clarifying Detox Face Mask which I love as well.  When it comes to an effective luxury brand, trust me this is one of them. This line has great ingredients in it which are worth noting.  A lot of their packaging is correct for the products they sell in order to keep the formula's stable.  In their line you will find products with retinol, vitamin C and salicylic acid which all make a really big difference on the face when packaged and used correctly.  Mrs. Rothschild also understands that when it comes to skincare, one product does NOT do it all and she makes that clear on her website.  You need to use a combination of products in order to tackle a combination of issues. However those products must contain certain stable ingredients that one needs in order for this happen which are found in this line.  Colleen Rothschild line offers a range of products from gentle face cleanser to more potent products like retinol.  I am slowly trying out more of their products as they are not cheap but well worth the money.

Ageless Derma

I came to try Ageless Derma when one day I decided that I needed to use a Retinol Eye Cream with Vitamin K.  I searched high and low but could not find anything with these two ingredients put together.  I read in a medical journal article that putting retinol with vitamin K helped to diminished the look of fine lines and wrinkles but to also condition the skin to avoid the possible dryness that retinol can cause.  After trying this product out, I was hooked and ended up using at least four more of their products.  This company was founded by a medical doctor who did his research in order to create quality skincare products.  Their facial cleansers, skin brightening creams and moisturizers have some amazing ingredients in them that truly leave your skin with great results.  They lack the usual ingredients found in many skincare products like fragrances, alochol, fillers and so on which is a bonus.  I enjoy using this product line and always have a bottle of something of theirs either in my shower or on my bathroom vanity.  While they might be a bit pricey, but the results are worth every penny.

Use code Ageless when checking out to get 20% of your order storewide!

Poppy Austin

Poppy Austin was another company I found all by accident.  While searching for an authentic but decently price Argan Oil, I found this company.  What I just love about Poppy Austin is not just the fact that they use quality ingredients but that they don't charge an arm and a leg for all natural products either.  You also won't find unnecessary ingredients in their skincare line.  They don't incorporate fragrances, dyes, scents or alcohol in their products.  The only scent I have smelled so far is in the rose water which by nature it has a scent on its own. The products are completely decently priced and all the ingredients are listed on the bottle.  Their bottle sizes are amazing for the amount you get and pay for. You literally get twice the size of product versus in other companies when the bottles are about 1 oz or less.  They sell some amazing Roesehip Oil, Vitamin C Serum, Rhassoul Clay Mask and Eye Cream worth trying.  They also work with the community where they harvest their materials from in order to offer them paying wages.  This company is not only a great product line but humanitarians as well!

VoilaVe

VoilaVe is actually a company that found me! And let me tell you I have not been disappointed one bit!  I have literally sampled EVERY product from this line.  Took about half the year to do it, but nonetheless it truly was well worth it.  This company is 100% USDA and Eco Certified Organic.  They do not test on animals and are all made in the USA.  They offer face serums from pure Hyaluronic Acid, to their 4oz Argan Oil, Rosehip Oil, Triple Action Vitamin C Serum to Eye Cream.  Their best product that I literally rave about is there Dead Sea Mud Mask.  I use this product twice a week without fault.  The majority of their products are 99% natural and they truly stand behind their products by not ever using scents, alcohols, fillers, binders or any form of ingredients that can cause collagen breakdown or free radical cell damage.  I use their products every day and have truly been amazed by their results.  I am so grateful that they reached out to me and gave the opportunity to sample their line.  If you want to try an all natural line, trust me this is it!!

Cosmetic Skin Solutions

I started using Cosmetic Skin Solutions (CSS) when I first wanted to try a product with 1% retinol and a vitamin C + E serum as well.  This company is very comparable to skinceuticals but for literally a fraction of the cost.  You see no company can ever justify charging hundreds of dollar for a simple yet effective vitamin C serum.  I will not pay above $40 for any type of serum that contains the same ingredients you find in a $20 one.  CSS makes sure to not only make products that contain quality ingredients, but products that also have proven results with affordable pricing.  I have also tried their Hydra B Masque Advance Formula, and their Day Moisturizing Creme with great results.  These two creams helped to restore my face last summer when I suffered a horrific allergic reaction that literally burned my face and left it peeling.  This company also stays away from using products that contain alochol, scents, dyes and so on.  The majority of their products are properly packaged in order to keep the ingredients stable.   I love this company and love using their products every chance I get!

If you shop from their site and use their promo code CSSPROMO you get 5% off all your purchases.

So their you have it, my top six skincare companies worth trying out.  Let me know if you have tried any of these companies or other ones that offer quality ingredients with great prices and good shipping!

Keep Smiling!

Dayana
