I love Blank Canvas Cosmetics (BCC)!  There isn't anything bad I can say about this brand and their line of brushes.  In January I placed an order for their 15 piece set (click here to read the review) and just fell in love with their brushes!

A few months back, while surfing the next, I found on Blank Canvas's  facebook page that they were launching there new multi-color Kabuki set.  Now what is a Kabuki brush you may ask? Well let me tell you!  Kabuki brushes are used to buff in your makeup.  You can use them for mineral, liquid and powder makeup.  They are very dense and the bristles are made just so, so that the majority of your makeup does not get adsorbed into the brush and it leaves behind a prefect flawless finish.  

I currently owe a BCC F20 (pink) and I love using this to apply my foundation with.  It literally gives me a flawless complexion that I have never seen with using any other makeup tool.  There are no harsh lines left behind that you get from a makeup wand or sponge.  I was looking into buying the F22 & F23 and had it on my wishlist when I realized that BCC was selling these beauties in a bundle for a sweet deal!  So naturally I had to buy it!

While each brush can be used for many different reasons, nonetheless each one has a specific design in mind!  The F20 Flat Top Buffer Brush & F22 HD Dome Face Brush can be used to buff in your cream or liquid foundation.  The F21 HD Angled Contour Brush can be used to contour your face with.  Since the brush is angled, it works great to draw the contour lines on your forehead and hallows of your cheeks in a diagonal line. The F23 Pointed Tip Face Brush has a pointed head which is great for grabbing your concealer and dragging it down into place and getting in right underneath your eyes.  This set also comes with a traveling case.  When I bought mine at that time, the case wasn't being offer.  However the case looks sturdy and great way to keep your brushes clean and sanitized why on the road!

If you are looking to buy a Kabuki set for your foundation, concealer and contouring routine, then I highly recommend these brush! For the price, you won't be disappointed!

I’ve been looking for a vitamin C serum that I could commit to.  I have used many vitamin C serum in the past.  However, as soon as I found one negative thing about the product and I would be on the lookout  for the next best thing. I look for the convenience in everything I use because my time is so limited (Sad but true).  As much as I would love to invest hours on my beautiful face, the reality is I can't.  Now, with that said when I received the bottle of Dr. Song 20% vitamin C & E serum with Hyaluronic Acid I was skeptical to say the least.  However, I decided to give it a try and to my great surprise I instantly loved it!!! 

First, I can apply the perfect amount needed because it comes with a dropper and not a pump so no serum goes wasted or unused.   Secondly, as soon as I apply the serum to my face it takes seconds to dry which means I can apply my moisturizer or makeup without waiting. I also appreciate there’s no strong odor and it also applies nicely and doesn’t leave an oily feeling to my skin. 

After about a week of using this product I could really feel a difference.  My skin feels firmer and also looks vibrant! I know I love this product because I make it a habit to use it in the morning and at night after I wash my face.

I really like this product and will continue to use it till the bottle runs out!

September's Spotlight of The Month!

Ah fall is here! And with that comes nasty dry chap lips as winter sets in.  Since I was 13 years old, I have always brush my lips with my toothbrush after brushing my teeth.  I learned from a dentist that if you do this everyday, you won't have dry chap lips or dead skin left behind.  I have to say after doing this for 20 years, I have never had chapped flaky lips. That is on till now.  I don't know what happen, but ever since becoming pregnant my lips are flaking off like sheets of paper.  They are dry, chapped and they hurt like its nobody's business.  I brush them everyday, twice a day after brushing my teeth.  However with all that they are seriously chapped.  I was using Vaseline which is amazing, but my daughter decided to empty the whole bottle on top of her hair and body.  So there went that!

As you all know, I love youtube! I love watching other youtuber.  I recently heard a bunch of them raving over this Bite Agave Lip Mask.  They said its a product you use at night right before bed.   Its a lip mask treatment that is suppose to work wonders for your lips.  I figured at this point I give it a shot.  I mean whats the worse that could happen.  My lips fall off?! Its not like they aren't there already!

I bought this product off Sephora's website.  When this arrived to my house I couldn't wait to use it for night time!  This comes in a small squeezable tin like tube.  I have to say I am not crazy about the tube.  Its hard to squeeze out and I bet you anything that I am going to have to cut it open once it reaches its end of life because half of the product will be stuck inside!  Nonetheless, the product is awesome.  It comes out in a pearl like champagne color that looks great on the lips.  Its very soft, silky, smooth and overall very buttery. 

After spending some time wrestling to squeeze the tub out, a little drop smaller than a pea size covers both my top and bottom lip.  A little does go a long way.  After using this for a week straight, my lips felt better conditioned, softer and the chapness was gone.  The dryness had settled down a lot and my lips looked well hydrated.  I found I wasn't reaching for my normal lip balm as often throughout the day.

I apply this lip mask right before bed and leave it on overnight.  It comes out a bit dry but once it touches your lips it melts like butter to a creamy form.  When I wake up in the morning, I notice my lips feel amazingly soft.  There is no greasy feeling left behind or bleeding from the product onto my mouth.  It just feels like sweet and lovely moisture all over my lips.  This product is not an all day lip balm wear.  Its best you use this product at night right before bed for best results. 

One of the most amazing things about this product is that its all natural.  Literally just about every ingredient in this tube is made of a natural source.  So in case of a famine, you can actually eat this product with no big issue.  However I would not in any way recommend or endorse that idea.  I am just saying!  This product is good for those who don't like to use lip balms with two many synthetic properties in them.

If you are in the market for a new lip balm treatment than for sure pick this up!  You will love it!

I’ve done everything imaginable to this head of mine from bleaching to every color on the hair palette!!! I started messing with my hair at a young age and never thought I would see the day my hair will pay for it until I started having children and hit my 30’s. I can place them on my dresser without being an eye sore which means they are in my sight and easy to take instead of stashing them somewhere, where I’ll forget to take them!! They are easy to swallow which is huge for me!! I cannot take swallowing huge vitamins (Gag)!!

So after using the vitamins for a month (about 4-5 weeks) my mom asked me if I had extensions in my hair?!?! Not only that, but my hair dresser had asked what I was doing because my hair was longer than the last time I came to visit! I honestly wasn’t paying much attention to my hair; it’s always in a bun. I can see the difference in a short amount of time and that’s enough for me to stand by a product and recommend it! One suggestion would be to come out with Hairfinity Gummies, but besides that I have no complaints.

I have read before that even if you have good skin, it’s wise to start using an anti-aging cream in your 30’s.  I mean you cant be young forever right!  And all skin needs a little help as we age.  However with that being said, I have to admit I don’t use any moisturizer’s or face creams as I should because I have not found one or shall I say, any that I really liked.  I have a collection in my bathroom of face creams that possible compete with your local Sephora and yet, I use them rarely…. that is until I tried Miracalis Anti-Aging Cream.  When I was told I was going to be able to try this product out by Miracalis I was thrilled!

This cream comes in a glass pot that is light weight and cute looking.   The cream it self is very soft and light.   I found that using a pea size amount was enough to get my whole face and neck area.  It applied on very silky and glided on well without any harsh rubbing to blend it in.  I used this cream twice a day after my daily skincare routine.  I used it in the mornings and at nights before bedtime.  It went on smooth and dried quickly with no residue left behind, greasy look or feel.  

It’s also odorless which I love!!!  Face cream should never have fragrance as that is a potential irritant to the skin.   Since I have very delicate skin that is set off by many products, this truly was a winner for me.  It never irritated my skin or dried it out.  This cream left my skin feeling and looking firmer and softer after almost just 3 weeks of constant use. 

I can apply my makeup almost instantly after using this cream as it absorbed quickly into my skin.  This also works great at night right before bedtime.  As I am ready to hit the pillow after my night time skincare routine, its absorbed nicely and quickly with no nasty residue!

I have found that I use this product more than any other face creams I have purchased in the past leaving me very satisfied.  I plan to continue using this cream due to its great benefits and the fact that my face looks and feels great so that's a bonus as well!

VoilaVe Dead Sea Mud Mask

Well, its been about a few weeks since I seriously posted on my blog.  I have been pretty sick and it has seriously slowed me down.  However I am back and ready to write!

So recently VoilaVe came out with this amazing product! Dead Sea Mud Mask! If you ever read my blog before, you would know that I am in love with everything mud!  Well for skincare needs that is.  About two months ago I tried a mud mask and while I loved it, I couldn't get over the stinging burning sensation it kept leaving me.  And though it did leave my skin all nice, smooth and hydrated, it still always felt like it was burning my face.  After a closer look at the ingredients I realized that it contained eucalyptus oil which is a known irritant for the skin.  After finding this information out, I realized I would have to discontinue the use of that dead sea mud mask in order to avoid irritating my face. 

However nothing like VoilaVe to save the day!  The reason while I love VoilaVe so much is because they actual have quality skincare products that are not only packaged right but they are formulated correctly.  Also, this mask is certified organic which means all the products used in this mask natural.  I received this product about two weeks ago and couldn't wait to try it.  When I open this jar, the first thing I noticed was just how big it was.  It came in a 16oz jar.  The consistency of it is very creamy and smooth and the color is a dark green.   I took a knife and mixed it well in order to make sure it applied to my face evenly.   It went on pretty smooth and a little went a long way.

I left it on for 15 minutes and used it twice a week.  I noticed that I had no burning sensation whatsoever during the whole time I had it on.  I did brace myself for the pain, but it never came. Thank goodness for that!  It dried to a nice hard but soft texture. So I was still able to talk, somewhat without my face cracking and falling off.  After I washed it off my face, I noticed it came off easily with no green residue left behind and no tightness to my face.  It left my face feeling well hydrated.  I honestly was in love with the glowing results this left me.

This mask is 99% organic and natural. It has only one unnatural ingredient which is xanthan gum. However before you go running for the hills, the majority of all skincare and body care products have xanthan gum in it. This product is mostly used in order to help thicken the product and allow it to glide on smoothly.  It is considered safe for personal use and can be found in many different items.

One final note worth paying attention to. Since this mask is 99% natural and organic, its best you keep it in the fridge.  The majority of the dead sea masks that are organic and natural lack the properties needed for a long shelf life, which is good.  The reason why a lot of skincare products can last the dawn of time is because of all the crap and/or chemicals contained in them.  So in order to ensure that your mask stays fresh and last awhile, keep in the fridge and NEVER in your bathroom where the constant drastic change in temperature will affect it.

I have to say I truly love this mask and it is now my holy grail and top number one in masks!  I would for sure recommend you give this mask a try if you want to use real dead sea mud that is natural and organic!

I have to say, I have really been enjoying all of VoilaVe products so far and can say that I have slowly but surely been swapping out many of my skincare items for this company's' products.  I am truly satisfied with the quality of their products and how well formulated them are.   VoilaVe is for sure taking over my skincare routine and bathroom vanity!

Everything Beautiful and beyond was recently asked to review the EBook on Green Smoothies and the 50 amazing recipes it came with.  I was really amazed by this book.  I normally drink smoothies and really like them.  However I noticed that many places that sell smoothies are loaded with sugar, syrups and all sorts of unhealthy stuff that for me might as well deem it as a milkshake. 

This EBook is broken up into eight chapters.  These chapters explain about how to make your smoothie and what vital ingredients that are necessary to actually make them healthy.  A lot of people tend to shy away from green smoothies in fear of them being not so tasteful.  Nonetheless the recipes in this book were rather delicious, simple to make and didn't cost a massive penny.  For many of these smoothies, you can use yogurt and natural sweetener in order to soften the taste if they are to tart or bitter for you.  However I found the majority of them to be just right.  I normally like to add honey, brown sugar or birch sugar if needed.  I try to stay on the natural side to sweeten my drinks.  I also used organic honey, yogurt, as well as fruits and vegetables that have soft skins.  Nonetheless its not necessary to use organic anything, but I rather prefer it.    

This smoothies are also great in fat and calorie content and have good protein value which can be found in the book at the bottom of every smoothie recipe stated.  For many like myself the nutritional value is always a concern and being pregnant; it matters to me.  I found with these smoothies they were good to detox with if you had one a day.  Since these help to clean out the liver, I really felt great with trying out and drinking a new one daily.  This book comes with 50 simple recipes you can try out to make green smoothies and even give you alternatives in regards to switching out some fruits/vegetables if you want a totally different taste!

Finally this book is purely vegetarian and also great for those who follow a Kosher or Halal diet as no animal products are used to create these smoothies!

I would total recommend this book if you are into green smoothies or just are looking to make healthy smoothies in general!!
